What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I love teaching in general. Seeing people grow they music skills is something amazing to watch. I also like to keep the process as fun and enjoyable as possible for both of us.
First get to know my student. See his/her skills with the instruments and knowledge of music in general. It's all about an observation and conversation process for the first minutes of the class. After I have an idea of how my student plays. I would definitely ask what he/she is looking for in this classes. The main goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing and learning music for more than 23 years from now. I have training myself with teachers, courses and music schools since a was a kid until college. I 've manage to play many instruments, to learn composition, harmony, to make orchestra arrangements, to read and write music, to be a sound engineer. It's been a life time process of learning and absorbing knowledge from everywhere.
