New York Jazz Academy

New York Jazz Academy is a New York, NY–based music school serving artists of all ages and skill levels. Its community includes more than 1,000 musicians from over 35 U.S. states and 70+ countries. With locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, the academy offers instruction on piano, guitar, drums, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, voice, strings, and more. Programs include private lessons, small ensembles and big bands, improvisation workshops, vocal jazz workshops, youth and adult courses, electives, and online jazz studies. Seasonal Jazz Intensives are offered year-round, including summer, winter, spring, and custom sessions, alongside early childhood music classes.

Beyond instruction, New York Jazz Academy runs the Jazz Ambassadors travel program and provides professional entertainment services, including party and wedding bands and ceremony music. The school also supports school outreach and assemblies, hosts special performances at major venues, designs custom workshops for visiting students, and offers educational consulting and publishing. Collaborators and clients have included PBS Television, CNBC, Save the Children, DreamYard, Smoke Jazz Club, Club Bonafide, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the NYC Office of the Mayor, and the Smithsonian Institution.
