Greenwich House Music School, founded in 1905 and based in New York, NY, is a community music school in Greenwich Village offering instruction for all ages and levels. As the West Village’s oldest and only community music school, it provides private lessons and classes in piano, guitar, violin, voice, drums, harp, woodwinds, and brass. Programs include early childhood music and art, children’s and teen ballet and musical theater, adult classes, summer programs, and performance opportunities. Located in a historic townhouse at 46 Barrow Street, the school features an intimate concert hall that hosts concerts, recitals, and community events. It also rents affordable rehearsal space for students and professional musicians. Greenwich House Music School is a program of Greenwich House. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The facility is not ADA accessible.
