Kundalini yoga is a yoga of awareness. You work from the inside out. It doesn't just work the physical body but also energy ones. We approach to different aspect of the human being. We work with breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, mantras(energy in sound) as equal as the asanas(postures or body movements), balance the oneself, creating the union within that allow yourself to expand, let go and find peace.
The best part is to be able to shared and serve others this amazing technology. In my personal experience I can say it works, it help to know and love yourself deeply, accepting your ups and downs and find peace inside. At also it keeps you in physical good shape and flexibility.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introducing myself, and start to know if the person has any practice in yoga or any other physical practice. Get to know the expectations and goals and create a work plan that is flexible and duable with each person time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified Kundalini yoga teacher in level 1 which corresponded to the 200hours of training that yoga alliance required and I am on level 2 trainings which correspond to the 300 extra hours that Yoga alliance required to be a 500hours certified teacher. I am also a certified Yoga teacher for kids
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching kids after getting certified. I am part of Newark yoga movement that is an non-profit that raised money to teach kids at Newark schools and other community centers around Newark town.
What types of students have you worked with?
Every level, from 3 years old to 70+ years old
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Working with kids is school is an amazing experience that creates so many memories that I am grateful for.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Feel if you connect with that teacher, if that teacher will be a person that listens and guides you to find your inner power and elevate your awareness of who you are and what you can do, if not, change.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
There is a lot of flexibility in yoga, so any question is welcome
