I am offering a free trial lesson through the zoom platform this will help to see if a student and I work well togeather . I am currently Teaching at Russo Music in Hamilton township N.J . I also teach privately . I am currently traveling to student homes and again am teaching on line . I have taught in different music establishment in the Mercer county and Bucks county area for the last 25 years . I have attended Settlement music school for classical training and musicians institute in Ca. I am qualified to teach beginners to advance studies with emphasis on Blues and classic rock . I also teach Classical country guitar on. Acoustic guitar as well as electric guitar .By teaching in music schools I have learned to adapt to many styles of music as well as beginning to expert players .I take a common sense approach with students playing for pleasure as well as to the more advance student Harmony and theory lessons
I have tought music for many years and have never looked at my job as work . I am thrilled when students have the sense of accomplishment and Know they have the ability and confidence to want to learn and enjoy it .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess the students level and make shore we start working on music that he or she can grasp right away . Also , for students that have experience on guitar /bass we start working on songs that peek their interest . The next step is to impress upon them to think of learning how to read music tablature and music theory . Having music theory relating to ones instrument is necessary for teaching themselves .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played since the age of ten. After various lessons and a few private teachers I started playing in bands . I then attended Bucks county community college for music theory and jazz instruction . I then went to Muicians Institute in Hollywood Ca. I have had studies with Steve Morris Robin Ford Pat Martino as well as many of the top studio musicians of their time . I studied classical guitar at Settlement music school. Also , private instruction from Steve Giordano for Jazz guitar and harmony and theory . Steve does master classes university of the arts Philadelphia pa.
