About the violin teacher, Ju Jin-Bornet
A native of South Korea, violinist Ju Jin-Bornet has been passionately performing and teaching in New York City and New Jersey since 2008. She has performed in a wide variety of orchestras, including Broadway show “the Phantom of the opera” (sub), the NYU Symphony Orchestra (concertmaster), the S.O.Phi.A Orchestra (concertmaster), the MSM Philharmonic (assistant concertmaster), the Manhattan Symphonie Orchestra played in Carnegie's Weill Hall, the Bergen Symphony Orchestra, and among others.
In addition, Ms. Jin-Bornet was proud to receive the scholarship award at the Great Mountain Music Festival (2008). She earned her Bachelor's Degree in violin performance from the Manhattan school of Music, and is pleased to have studied under the master teachers Gregory Kalinovsky, Lurie Carney, Yujeong Lee, and Kyungwoon Leah Kim. She graduated in Violin Performance of Master degree from NYU Steinhardt School on a talented scholarship, studying under Gregory Fulkerson May, 2015.
As a teacher, Ms. Jin-Bornet is currently a faculty member of NY String Academy. Former teaching positions include an adjunct faculty member of NYU, a faculty at Brooklyn's 88 Keys of New York, the Park Conservatory, Elizabeth Faidley Studios, Grace Music School and C.J.S Music School.
