I have been playing guitar for over 50 years; electric, acoustic, bass, slide gutair, dobro, a little banjo, mandolin, and autoharp. I have many years of teaching experience in a number of subjects. If you want to learn comprehensive music theory, cord structure, lead playing, improvisational techniques, or just learn to strum a little, I can facilitate you at your own pace.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is to assess the students current level. Are they a beginner, novice, or more advanced player looking to pick up some new skills? We also have to assess the student's expectation and goals. Then we can decide the best coarse to facilitate the students learning. I always begin to telling my students,"I cannot teach you to play, what i can do is show you what you need to do to learn".
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spend many years as a teacher/facilitator in a variety of sujects, sales and customer service, firearms, conservation, cooking, as well as music. I have been playing guitar for over 50 years.
