Ari has been a blessing in both my daughters and my life. Arielle is flexible and accommodating with scheduling lessons times and make up classes. In addition to being kind, and thoughtful Arielle is compassionate, professional, and a positive influential motivator in my child’s life. Ari has many years of professional performance experience which appealed greatly to me and is why I chose her as not only my daughters music instructor but my instructor as well!”

“I have been taking lessons with Ms. Ari for about 7 months now and she is the absolute best! Her technique helps strengthen the voice and make the vowels more open and clear. I would definitely reccomend her to someone who likes singing. She offers instrumental lessons as well.”

Ar is an angel and meeting her has been a blessing. I find myself instantly relaxed as we begin the lesson with breathing exercises and free to make mistakes without judgment as the lesson progresses. This voice is incredibly personal, so the openness of the learning environment is critical! Ari tailors her explanations to my learning style, so I am able to truly understand the principles of certain techniques in order to properly practice and (eventually) master them. I have found the most lovely and supportive mentor in Ari and would recommend the studio to anyone looking to find their voice!”

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get a background of their musical goals, prior training, and so forth. I make a "road map" for you of what you want from your lessons. No two voices or students are the same.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Began musical training on the violin at the age of six. Bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and pedagogy, 11 teaching experience, 8 years performance experience as an operatic soprano.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Per month or quarterly.
How did you get started teaching?
I started as an apprentice while still in school, then at a music shop before I opened my own studio.
What types of students have you worked with?
All sorts!! :) all ages and skill levels are welcome, including students with special needs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Producing a children’s production of “The Wizard of Oz Jr!”
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don’t settle for the “cheapest price” or “closest drive.” You wouldn’t cut corners with a manicure, your vocal health is 10x more important! Your voice is a valuable, sensitive instrument, work with someone with pedagogical knowledge who understands the science behind a voice. Also take into account if the teacher is friendly and wants to best assist you in reaching your goals!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) What kind of technique do you teach (bel canto, etc)
2) Do you have a degree or the equivalent of excellent private training?
3) What is your process like for working with a new student?
4) How will you assist me in reaching these goals?
