I was fortunate enough to grow up in a very musical family. Thus, music has always been, for me, a second language. When I started studying guitar, and when I study the guitar currently, it is a process of formalizing a skill I learned as a child. Herein lies the problem for many struggling guitar players; they are being educated formally before they learn to speak the language of music foundationally. Therefore, I approach guitar lessons in the same way one would approach teaching a small child to speak English; We start playing. If you take lessons with me you can expect to: play a lot, listen a lot, be creative, and learn how to learn. The last point is the most crucial; I WANT my students to eventually stop paying for my services. There is an unending amount of lessons for free on Youtube and other platforms available to guitarists that have the ability to teach themselves. My job is to get people to that place, and send them off on their own music journey. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to start that musical journey with me today!
