When working with a new student, we want them to be successful so it is important that we get them playing right away and show them tecniques for practicing so that they will see progress with each lesson. This will give them the confidence of "I can do this".
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our staff has higher education in music. Weather it be an Associates degree or a Masters, each teacher has had extensive training on their instruments.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our standard pricing is for either 30 minutes ($23) or 60 minutes ($42) for a once-a-week lesson. Payment is charged on a monthy basis.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with all ages of students; children, teenagers, adults and retirees. Anyone wanting to learn and share music is a student that we want to and enjoy working with.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When choosing a teacher, we recommend that you look at not only their education, but also their expereince the instrument they teach as well as any other instruments that they may play or perfrom with. The added experience generally shows in a more well rouded approach to their teaching style and better communication with the student.
