Michael is a colleague of mine in the music education field and hes always the first person that I go to for advice on my teaching. Not only is he an incredibly knowledgable and engaging educator, but he is always searching out ways to enhance his teaching practice. If someone asked me to recommend them a piano teacher, Michael would be my first choice.

Michael has been such a great teacher with my son. This was his first time taking piano lessons and Michael has done such a great job determining where to start and how to continue to best meet my son’s needs. He is patient and enthusiastic and always provides positive reinforcement. He starts off each lesson with an informal check in (how are you, how was your week) and then moves right into review and the weekly lesson. He communicates with me as well so I know how my son is progressing. This has been a really rewarding experience, not only for my son, but also for me to see the progress that he has been able to make with Michael. He is truly a remarkable piano teacher!

Michael is a very experienced teacher, and has definitely helped me improve my piano skills dramatically. Before working with him, I had been on the fence about returning to professional lessons (as opposed to self-instruction and online resources), but looking back the differences are very obvious to me now and its been absolutely worth it. Michael takes a very flexible and balanced approach to teaching, targeting the students own interests while also rounding out the edges of their skillset so they are always improving - This makes it genuinely fun to learn and continue practicing, and its one of the essential hallmarks of a talented instructor.

Our journey into teaching began with a shared passion for music and a desire to inspire and educate aspiring musicians. Each of our instructors has a unique path that led them to teach, and they collectively bring a wealth of experience to our music lessons studio.

First and foremost, all of our teachers have ample teaching experience. They have honed their instructional skills through years of working with students of various ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. This experience has enabled them to develop effective teaching methodologies and adapt their approach to meet the specific needs of each student.

Many of our instructors also have degrees in music education, which provided them with a solid foundation in teaching techniques and pedagogy. This educational background equipped them with the necessary skills to engage students in meaningful and effective learning experiences.

Some of our teachers started their teaching careers after graduating from music school. They recognized the value of sharing their passion for music and helping others unlock their musical potential. Their firsthand experience as performers and their deep understanding of music theory and technique makes them particularly adept at providing comprehensive and inspiring instruction.

Overall, our instructors' collective teaching experience, one-on-one instruction skills, background in music education, and genuine passion for sharing the joy of music have fueled their journey into teaching and led them to be exceptional educators within our business.

We have worked with diverse students, including beginners, intermediate and advanced students of all ages. We cater to various musical interests, from classical to jazz, pop, rock, and more. Our experience spans a wide range, allowing us to adapt and provide personalized instruction for each student.

One recent event that we are particularly fond of is our annual summer recital. We have two recitals every year. It was a memorable occasion where our dedicated teachers and talented students came together to showcase their hard work and musical achievements.

During the recital, our students had the opportunity to demonstrate their progress and perform in front of a supportive audience. It was a wonderful celebration of music where we witnessed the culmination of their efforts and saw the growth they had achieved during lessons.

When hiring a music teacher, consider these tips:

    1. Identify your music goals.

    2. Look for a qualified and experienced teacher.

    3. Assess teaching style and compatibility. Find a teacher that caters to your learning style.

    4. Seek recommendations and reviews.

    5. Assess progress over time.

What type of music would you like to play?

If any, what are some music concepts that you currently struggle with?

Where would you like to see yourself in a year ?

What is your preferred learning style? Consider whether you thrive in structured environments or prefer more flexibility and creativity in your lessons.
