Growing up, there was no better feeling for me than seeing myself grow as a musician and songwriter. The joy, confidence, and skills that becoming proficient at an instrument gave me, are things that I wish to help others achieve as well. Teaching others forces me to always keep my technique and music theory chops as sharp as possible, as I want to be an example for my students as to what is attainable through dedicated practice, consistency, and passion. I hope to grow as teacher, and can't wait to work with people who love learning guitar as much as I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
-I cater my learning process based on the student's age, thier level on the instrument, and their specific goals in regards to the genre they wish to become proficient in. For example, if a student wants to learn how to play nothing but classic rock songs, I will put all my energy into helping them practice to achieve that goal in the most efficient way possible. There is no need for them to have as deep of an understanding of harmony and theory as someone who wants to delve into Jazz or Metal guitar. By the same token, if someone just wants to get very familiar with fretboard knowledge and play all their scales across the neck, I won't waste any time forcing them to learn classic rock riffs and pop songs!
