Konster-Varga Piano Studio

With 6+ years in competition piano , OMEA performances and judging , 4+ years in teaching private piano and theory lessons , and 2+ years in teaching electric guitar lessons , I have had the pleasure of working with 11 students , 6 of them being in my lessons since their day one . My students have gone on to play keyboard at church , perform piano at recitals , as well as perform for judges at OMEA competitions and evaluations .

I create a specialized curriculum for each student , catering to each one's most effective learning method and desired music genre . I am a firm believer that learning music does not need to be a walk in the mud , but rather an exciting climb up the ladder of knowledge , passion , and discipline .

In addition to their music lessons , I also teach all students music theory as part of their lessons regardless of their instrument of choice (piano or guitar) . I believe music theory is an essential part to the mastery of any musical instrument , and is rudimentary to all concepts , from the beginner to advanced levels .

Lastly , I teach students how to be a performer . Breathing , posture , stretching , and pre-performance routines are all crucial to having the best version of you on stage .
