Nate Richards is owner/operator of Richards Rock Academy (formerly Richards Guitar Studio) in Aston, PA. In addition, he is orchestra director, music theory and guitar teacher at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills. Nate is classically trained, graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude with a double major in music education / music theory and composition with a minor in classical guitar performance, and completed a master's degree in classical guitar performance with a 4.0. He has been teaching privately for 23 years, in public school for 16 years, and has continuously studied music for 31 years, always adding value to his lessons service. Nate also won several awards and a national competition for his work in the field of music theory, as well as classical guitar composition.

Richards Rock Academy offers personalized lessons to a variety of ages, levels, and styles. We hire teachers with classical/jazz training and/or college degrees in music. Our teachers are flexible and personable, professional musicians and performers. Our facilities are large and comfortable, and we offer online guitar lesson resources and community. RRA has developed a Rock Guitar Mastery System for serious and dedicated students who want to reach an advanced level of performance and knowledge. See more information at

RRA operates a rock band school program and keeps a busy performing schedule, offering students real-life experience as performing musicians. The standards for performance are high, and the circle of family and friends within the academy is a tight-knit community that is invaluable to healthy student growth.
