We have been open since 1998 and our mission has always been high quality, customized music lessons to fit YOUR goals and needs.

When you take lessons at Green Hills Guitar Studio, you will be learning from instructors with years of professional experience as educators, live performers, studio musicians, artists and songwriters.

We believe in teaching in a supportive, nurturing, and comfortable learning environment that follows lesson plan specific to your goals and aspirations. We also aim to have fun and challenge our students to continue growing as guitarists, vocalists, pianists, songwriters, and musicians. We offer a structured and linear process that we have learned through experienced and adapted through the years in our own careers as professional musicians.

In 2015, we expanded our availability to study music by offering instruction through our online music lessons service. We are now teaching students from around the country and the world. We teach music to students of all ages and experience levels.

I really enjoy helping people learn and understand the music they love. Wethere its a beginning guitar student or someone that has been playikng for a while, it is a lot of fun to see and help people grow in their musicianship and playing.

As a songwriter and creative person, I have a lot of experience with writing, co writing, performing and recording. I also understand the creative process and I enjoy working with people on their own creativity and songwriting.

Sometime that means just getting started with an idea or song, other times it's getting "un-stuck." Sometimes is about finding inspiration when it seems to have gone missing, encountering fears, self judgement and critisism, comparing oneself to otheres, finding ones own voice and style, just feeling lost or losing the thread of a song or idea.

I think it's very important to meet people esactly where they are i there own process and go from there. Creativity and songwriting is often times not linear. That can often cause frustration and confusion for people. I beleive the process is about developing skills and strategies to be curiuos, courageous and inspired while working within the context of an idea or song. It may seem messy at times, bu there is a process that works if you are willing to engage in this way. It becomes a lot less stressful and a lot more fun and rewarding.
