About
I understand the aspects of music and the importance of the steps necessary to connect with music. I'm an artist, teacher, and recording & touring musician. Currently I am a music ambassador for the City of Austin. There is so much professional knowledge that I get to share with people and make music relatable and a personable experience.
Music is beautiful. It has the ability to change moods, moments, & lives. The fact that I was given the knowledge is a gift to be able to share it.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to ask my students/learners what it is that they extacly hope to accomplish. This gives me a rounded perspective on how to go about achieving their goals the best. There are so many different styles to teaching and I want to make sure they are confident while learning new material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied music at the University of Texas and have taught ukulele, piano, guitar and voice since 2009
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I ask that a student have a minimum of one month to have the first
How did you get started teaching?
I was taught by Tom Barrera in San Antonio a Jazz and Gospel piano player in 2008. He told me by teaching I could also learn. I decided to pick up my first student Isabella, teaching her became a pleasure and when you see people click with the information to the music, it's pretty rewarding.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of people. Some just want to be able to play a song to thier wife. Some want to learn how to get ready to play live just so they can say they did, as a life goal. Some want to learn to create music and start a career. Some already have a career and are professional; it's great to have a teacher because they keep you disciplined.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I got to see my last student Jordan finally understand how scales and music theory come together. When he first got it, he came back and had written a song. It was really nice to see him play. Now we're preparing for a live performance.
