With over 20 years of teaching experience and a Master of Music from the University of Arizona, I bring both classical training and a lifelong love of rock to my lessons.

My teaching is open and flexible, informed by multiple genres, and focused on helping students develop musical interpretation skills — the kind that empower you to teach yourself. My goal is always to empower students to teach themselves by focusing on the art of interpretation and application of technique.
