About this pro

Ive been teaching yoga for over five years, and practicing yoga for over twelve years. I grew up in a family of hatha yoga practicioners, and did my teacher training in Australia with the Brahma Gaudiya Sampradaya with roots tracing back to ancient India. Ive been practicing the yoga lifestyle now for over eight years including some of the more austere regulations of ashtanga yoga and as such am able to provide my students with a unique and valuable experience. My classes always include the most potent information and techniques that I have learned throughout my many years of travelling around the world teaching and attending yoga retreats. Check out my website www.skyfitness.yoga to find more information about my classes and upcoming events.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Firstly we will determine the yoga regimen that will suit you the best by gauging your fitness level, body type, and current overall energetic state

Base on this information I will then provide close personal coaching including physical techniques and mental techniques to optimize your learning abilities and improve your personal practice

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Certified Yoga Instructor (ASMY 2012)

Certified Acupuncturist (LCCM 2016)

B.A. Psychology (Texas State 2010)

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

private lessons usually run 50$ per hour, with the first lesson I give an extra half hour for evaluation free of charge.

How did you get started teaching?

My father taught yoga as i grew up, and after attending other yoga classes I knew that I was capable of teaching the highest standard of yoga classes because of my ability to retain information well. I set out to find the perfect yoga teacher training, and after searching for a few years I found Veda Yoga Teacher training in Australia and travelled for one year to train under Vrindavan Dasi in the Gold Coast.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages, all body types, all levels of health, all levels of fitness

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Our last event was a private yoga retreat done in the hidden mountains of Colorado

We had natural hot springs near a cold water crystal clear creek and had an amazing weekend of healing yoga with heart melting music and  delicious vegetarian meals.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

My knowledge surpasses many of those in this field of yoga who have been practicing for more years or have more credentials than myself on the surface level simply because I have taken this process of gathering true information about the original yoga system very seriously and have thoroughly examined many many schools of Yoga and scrutinizingly checked the different philosophies which comprise the fundamental basis of a yoga school. My one-pointed focus is what makes me the most superior and authoritative yoga instructor that you will find out there. So my advice is to choose my classes, not for my benefit, but for your own benefit. All of my students are always pleasantly surprised by my overly generous personality and the care and attention that I provide to them.
