FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Our typical process for working with new students is seeing how much knowledge they have of the instrument that is being placed in their hands from the very beginning. From there we go on and teach them the fundamental basics which include the music theory so they are knowledgable not only by ear but also by the theory that is behind the instrument they want to learn to play whether it is piano, bass, drums, guitar, violin saxophone or others.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our teachers are certified in music theory, audio engineering, music performance and teaching.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Our standard rate per hour is $35.

How did you get started teaching?

Our teachers are very passionate about teaching as well as playing their most favorite instrument. They have developed many techniques and tools over the years that help them teach today.

What types of students have you worked with?

At Larios Music Academy we work with all students who have a passion for learning from children that are 5 years old to adults that are 50 years. We also teach students who have disabilities because we believe that no child or adult should be left behind if their passion is greater than difficulties and challenges they are presented with.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Our advice for prospective students looking to hire a teacher is to make sure the quality of the music lesson is worth your money and time.
