About

I am a certified music teacher. I currently have 18 students from ages 4 to 55 years. I am professional, dependable and will always call, e-mail or text ahead of time to confirm scheduled lessons. I am very organized and structured in my lessons. I have two cases of learning materials that I use in my lessons for young children to ensure a positive and happy learning experience.

Make time to listen, encourage, and praise your child's music practice. Practice with your child. Attend all music lessons. It is very important to purchase a quality instrument and equipment.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and 20 years of teaching experience in special education and music. I practice playing music on the guitar and piano daily. I constantly read music literature on music education. I am always learning and improving my teaching methods.

$25.00 for a 30 minute private lesson.

The cheapest priced teacher is not always the best instructor. Review your teacher credentials and recommendations.  A great teacher is not always an excellent performer. Many great performers do not know the first thing about teaching. Observe your teacher in how he or she instructs and what the teacher does when the student can't understand the instructions. Does the instructor offer alternative ways of learning a particular skill?
