Ventura Academy

My name is Pablo Ventura. I have been passionate about music since 2012, beginning my journey on the drum set before transitioning to piano in 2014. I studied at a piano academy in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, where I performed in annual Christmas recitals under the instruction of Maestro Israel Andrade. In 2016, I achieved first place in piano solo at a Christian convention in Corpus Christi, Texas, and two years later won first place in the piano solo category at a Fine Arts convention in Houston. From 2020 to 2024, I pursued a bachelor's degree in piano performance at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, Texas under the instruction of Dr. Friedrich C. Gechter. During this time, I held a recital in December 2022 at the prestigious Sala Sergio Peña in Nuevo Laredo and accompanied the local group Los Manes, paying tribute to celebrated Mexican artists such as Roberto Carlos, Camilo Sesto, and José José. I am currently working towards a master’s degree in Piano and Organ performance at the University of Texas at San Antonio under the instructions of Dr. Kassandra Keeling (piano) and Dr. Andrew Lloyd (organ).
