It is so rewarding when a student gains a love and understanding of music 🎶. When a student goes from a general cast singer in a musical and then grows to become a lead roll, THAT gets my heart pumping!!
My students are insentivized to practice and they improve so much quicker than those students who do not practice during the week. I try to inspire students to love music by making it fun.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon Lake View Music years ago! Not only is Lisa a phenomenal music teacher, we now consider her family!
She is able to adapt her lessons to fit each persons needs and likes while making learning fun and memorable!
My kids leave her class singing everytime and continue the lesson by teaching their dolls(and me) in the same positive way Lisa does.
I highly recommend Lake View Music!

Lisa is an awesome coach, Ive been working with her for about 4 years starting with voice lessons to gain confidence then shifting to piano to refine my skills and try something new. She is very positive and very constructive and is always helping me find creative ways to work around my dyslexia when reading music. Im thrilled to call her my teacher and look forward to continue learning from her!

Lisa is an amazing piano teacher, and a very sweet person. My twins were her students for nearly 3 years and we all always enjoyed our time with her. Lisa’s comprehensive approach to teaching (by ear as well as supported by books and teaching them to read music) made lessons fun and engaging. She offered recitals and performances but they were not mandatory which was great (I always had one of each- and removing the stress of the recital for one made a huge difference). Both kiddos are still practicing with a new teacher as Lisa is no longer in our area (but we would still be with Lisa if able)!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with new students to discover their learning style and find what level lesson book they should start on. If they have had lessons before I typically have them continue and complete the book.
