About

25+ years of giving the joy of music to all ages. Classical, pop, technique and theory in a delightful setting. Piano and guitar are offered.

I love watching students embrace what they are learning and use it to create and enjoy the music they love!

After teaching 25+ years, there is still never a dull moment! I studied under an incredible teacher with her Doctorate from Juilliard, a world-renowned organist, and pedagogy from the President of Ohio Music Teacher's Association.

Students have come who are ages 5 -83, and all have enjoyed the process and joy of learning to create music that is truly their own.

    Frequently asked questions

Our first lesson is spent getting to know each other, finding out the student's current musical skill level, and choosing just the right path ahead for the student.

My initial training was private lessons from a Doctorate from Juilliard.  I then studied at Northwestern University and from there studied Piano Pedagogy with the President of Ohio Music Teacher's Association.

Lesson fees are $125/month for 1/2 hour students.

After many years of lessons, I realized that I not only had a desire to share music with others, but the skills to do so.  It has been a joy ever since!

I have worked with students of all ages - 5 - 83, and beginners and much more advanced students as well.

Please make sure that the teacher has a love for many genres of music, a commitment to Theory, Technique, Ear Training, and a simple enjoyment of music!

    1.  Do they have an instrument?

    2.  Are they excited and committed to practicing regularly?

    3. What are their musical goals?

    4. Do they have any special needs/desires in regards to playing the piano (i.e. learning disabilities, autism, singing along, etc.)?
