Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meeting for a free consultation and making sure I can meet their needs and they feel it's a good fit. We will schedule something that fits their schedule. I will have a routine and take home excercises for them to work on to expand their full potential for each session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 200hour yoga and meditation certification that includes nutrition and anatomy. I also have a personal training certification and am CPR certified
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I came up with pricing from the average range of other one on one fees. We did do a business class in training and the average they gave was a lot higher than what I charge.
How did you get started teaching?
I have practiced yoga and meditation for 9 years now and I knew what wonders it did for me and being in the healthcare field I wanted to offer this to others
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people from ages 4-70 years of age. Theres no "type" per say ...they are all different in their own unquie way.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a detoxing program I like to teach.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they have your safety first. Never get into positions that cause pain..this will only lead to injury. Always speak on how you feel or make sure they're asking you this question.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
That they know exactly what they want. And asking themselves if they are fully committed to these goals. And then asking the teacher their own process and steps they take to reaching goals overall of their other students. Most teachers/instructors have a process they follow.
