Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with an overall evaluation and talk about the client's goals. We then make a plan of how often we will meet and start our work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a doctorate in occupational therapy and am a 200hour yoga instructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40-80/hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I found my passion for yoga in high school when I started going to classes with my mom. I pursued the yoga teacher training and have been teaching since 2011. I have now branched out to other mind-body modalities such as Tai Chi.
What types of students have you worked with?
Any students, young to old, and every level of physically, mental ability.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The student and teacher should get along, students shouldn't have to endure learning from a teacher they don't mesh well with when they are the ones paying for the services and need to be able to learn the skills to be self-efficient after the lessons.
