About this pro

Focus Yoga KC provides an inviting yoga environment for individuals with differing physical and intellectual capabilities. We work with students to combine movement, meditation, and breathing exercises to create feelings of empowerment and self-esteem.

Having the opportunity to show people that they CAN do things that they have been told they can't do is something I love about teaching yoga. I love to meet new clients and watch them gain a sense of empowerment throughout their practice.

yoga is not only therapeutic but also educational for children with special needs. Specially for children with autism, regular yoga practice can help improve imitation skills, eye contact, sitting tolerance, non-verbal communication, and receptive skills to verbal commands. My son is Autistic, I enrolled him for yoga lessons from Kacey for over a year and his experience with her was awesome. He looks forward to yoga with Kacey every week. As a mom of special needs kid,I am so happy to find a teacher like her for my son. She is patient, experienced, has great knowledge and tailors the lessons to his needs. His behaviour has come down he is lot more attentive and receptive able o follow directions with one prompt.Any parent with special needs, interested in enrolling for yoga class I would recommend Kacey, she is very friendly, caring and loving. Experience is the best teacher in this world and she has that.
