I'm here to help lend my experience towards getting you speaking the language of music! whatever your aspirations in regards to making vibrations, i can craft a lesson plan reflexive to your goals!
I have played in a variety of bands ranging from jazz to funk, folk to bluegrass and beyond over my 16 years playing. Also have completed many courses in composition and theory as well as having marched in the Rose Parade honor band, sang in a choir at carnegie hall, and accompanied many musical theater companies around the Bay Area.

~Find out what musical style(s) truly interest them.
~personalize a syllabus of rhythms, scales, chords, and tunes (to learn and listen) that correspond to their interests.
~be reflexive in maintaining their interest, noting where their natural inclinations and inspirations lie and providing further materials as they progress.
~keep students positive with the attitude of 'all it takes is time and commitment.'
