About

Our ambition at re:form YOGA is to sustain a dynamic, creative and joint venture involving students, community and teachers in the consistent cultivation of yoga practice; all the while, establishing acceptance of our diversity and individual talents in a safe and challenging environment.

re:form YOGA offers Vinyasa classes for all levels. Our intention is to maintain a space where students feel comfortable and safe growing and advancing in their asana (posture) practice. We understand that practicing yoga is as varied and distinct as each one of our students. We take pride in our teachers ability to understand and distinguish the slight differences of each student body; as a result, creating a safe, fun and challenging space to practice yoga. Not only is practicing yoga physically rewarding, it is emotionally and soulfully gratifying as well. Practicing yoga on a consistent basis (at least 3 times a week) nurtures the connection of mind and body and cultivates physical health; as well as, emotional health.

re:form YOGA is forward thinking in the concept of being green, environmentally friendly and organic while creating an environment that is fashionable in design, comfortable, and appealing to all of the senses.

80 degrees: at re:form YOGA we are passionate about providing our students with an environment that allows for and encourages you to achieve the greatest benefit out of your practice. We believe that doing YOGA in a comfortable and ideal temperature of 80 degrees will allow students to move through postures feeling energetic and being able to respond to their body’s ability in a way that translates to real life.

Why we don’t practice “hot” yoga

Excessive heat “stress” (Temperatures over 90 degrees while exercising) can very well cause heat illness and it is vital that our bodies maintain a normal core temperature. Core temps that run greater than 103 – 104 can cause the central nervous system to become severely impaired and make it almost impossible for the body to regulate its “normal” core temp.
