Yoga is for everyone. My hope is that the student and I connect and create a yoga class that will fit their needs, whether that is more strength, flexibility, inner peace, serenity... the benefits of yoga are endless and can be experienced by all!
Yoga teaching is my passion. I have been told that the way I teach is refreshing, clear, and unique. I love being able to offer this kind of energy to my students.

Rachel's calm yet enthusiastic energy is unlike any other yoga teacher I've been to in LA. She is truly passionate about the classes she teaches and has a special way of connecting with fellow yogis. She is a sweetheart and truly intuitive. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an enjoyable yet challenging Vinyasa flow class!
My typical process for working with a new student:
-Assessment of fitness history
-Assessment of any injuries
-Assessment of yoga knowledge/level
-List of allergies
-Music preferences
-Desires for the student
-200 hr Vinyasa training
-120 hr Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist
-13 hr Yoga for Traumatic Stress training
-Reiki 1
I got started teaching at a few studios in the Boston area. I worked at Milton Yoga, Chakra Power Yoga, & Whitman Wellness Center.
I taught at Yoga Circle Downtown for 2 years, and currently work at The Fir Factor Alhambra.
I've had the blessing of amazing students. They range from beginners to advanced. I also work with students looking for relaxation in restorative yoga.
I recently hosted an event "Yoga and Sound in the Park". It was a free class to benefit Trees.org. We raised over $1000! Giving back is what brings me so much joy.
To be open & honest about your desires for your class! It will be customized to you.
