Yoga is my life, my passion and my purpose. I teach a variety of styles from Gentle Restorative and Iyengar Hatha to Advanced Vinyasa Flow. My classes are compassionate and creative yet truly authentic and traditional. The safety and comfort of my students are my highest priority. I have been practicing consistently for 20 years and teaching for 7. It is amazing to witness the healing and transformative effects these teachings have had for so many people and it is my mission to help as many as I can. Originally a tree-climbing tomboy from St. Charles, Illinois, when I moved west in the 90’s and discovered the yoga community and its open-hearted people, it was true love from the get-go. Now at 46, when I’m not caring for my family of 5 in Mission Viejo, CA, I am teaching, practicing or studying yoga. I humbly admit I feel whole. I breathe gratitude, love and respect for my teachers, students and all yogis.

Loved my introduction to yoga. Julie was able to precisely describe each formation and took time to make sure I adequately followed her instructions. Looking forward to the next session.
I like to speak on the phone with potential students to be sure we are a good match. Then we schedule an initial class or consultation. If that goes well we set up a regular day, time and place or practice with a flexible agreement.
200 hour training from 2011 plus many additional workshops, classes, independent study and about 1400 hours of teaching.
I charge $75 per class that is 60 to 75 minutes long. I charge extra for driving further.
I practiced for 10 years and realized the huge impact it had on my health. I decided that I owed it to the practice to help spread the word. Now after 20 years of yoga I am very passionate about getting absolutely everyone on the mat!
