Dennis is kind, patient, and an extremely talented musician. I never leave his studio without a new skill to practice and each lesson leaves you wanting another. No matter your level of music knowledge he has the gift to guide anyone in their journey of bettering their musicianship. I strongly recommend him!

Dennis is by far one of the most talented musicians I know. He puts his all into any project he works in and strides towards success in anything he does. He’s hardworking and incredibly knowledgeable in almost everything musically related.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Music is a process that works from the inside out. Lessons will start with an overview of the student's goals, and we will immediately begin to give them a strong foundation and knowledge of their chosen instrument. Together, as the student grows, we will use everything at our disposal to accomplish their goals, focusing on technique, theory, and ultimately, expression!

I believe everyone deserves a chance to learn and progress at their own pace, but I will guide the student to help find the resources they need to help expedite the process and give them concrete exercises to work on each week as we explore their favorite songs and styles!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been an active musician for over 10 years, playing shows with multiple acts, producing, recording, songwriting, and practicing with the goal in mind to be the best musician I can be.

I also have a bachelor of arts degree from UC Davis in Technocultural Studies, a multimedia-focused major that places an emphasis on creative arts and technology.

My skill set is diverse and wide-ranging. If you want to get started or break out of a plateau with your music, don't hesitate to reach out! My rates are reasonable and I am so excited to help show my students what they're capable of.
