J. Music Lessons
About
As a music educator that has a deep passion for music, I feel identified with my students and I help them go through their obstacles in their musical career by finding things in common and showing them with detail how to improve in their instrument or in music theory. I always try to keep the curiosity up so my students can feel the motivation and interest when learning and succeed in their path of becoming the artist they want.
I enjoy the interaction and success of my students, the feeling of them feeling confident playing their instrument, and their desire to continue working.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Always first I ask them about their interests and goals, like why are they taking lessons.
After, I'll ask my students to play a song or something they like, so I can asses their ability at their instrument. Then I will discuss with him a dedicated Ed plan that's tailored to his goals and his time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taught privately music theory and guitar for 2 1/2 years, all of this while I was in college.
I have an associates degree in music studies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
It all depends on each student and their timeline.
How did you get started teaching?
I started helping my college friends with music homework, then later I took a course for becoming a tutor, and just little by little I started liking the vocation of teaching, so I started teaching privately to first some family members, later kids, and after that I decided to continue teaching in general to all public.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with kids (10-12), and young adults mostly, however I had a few 55+ students as well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was very proud of my first online teaching experience, I manage to get 3 of my students at a time to help them all in an arrangement for one of the songs they wanted to play.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always try different people with different styles of teaching, get out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
how much time do I have? And, I'm I willing to put in the time and practice?
