About
Our yoga is mindful healing energy yoga, very different from fitness center styles. We also teach a Korean blend of taichi & qigong, as well as topical wellness workshops. All our instruction is based on integrative health ("Oriental medicine") energy principles, designed to improve overall circulatory and nervous system health as well as flexibility and balance.
Our instructors love helping people take charge of their own health. We especially love to see students who focus well leave class more relaxed, energized, and with much brighter faces than when they arrive!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We recommend trying one of our Tues or Thurs meridian energy yoga classes! Check in at 9:45am. Open to the public, until the room is full! $10 cash per class. Wear loose or stretchy clothing and yoga socks (or buy a pair on arrival). We look forward to meeting you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our volunteer instructors are certified in Korean integrative healing traditions by Body & Brain Yoga and TaiChi in the U.S., and some have also trained in Korea. Our primary purpose is to help our members heal themselves, their families, and to share our healing philosophy in their communities.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our pricing for non-profit community classes is simple - we just need to pay the rent! Your $10/class helps us do that. At the Women's Club of Oceanside, any income above the cost of rent and necessary equipment will go back to the Women's Club (a fellow non-profit).
We also offer classes, workshops and wellness instruction at corporations & for-profit organizations under Wellness At Work contracts, tailored to their needs.
What types of students have you worked with?
We welcome students dealing with a wide variety of health challenges. We have members recovering from cancer, fighting MS, and with many types of common ailments such as scoliosis, arthritis, obesity, balance problems and memory problems. We do our best to help each member learn how to heal, grow in understanding, and change their energy in order to become well.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We held a week of family-friendly Nature-oriented field trips this past July, as a fund-raiser for Earth Citizens Organization, an educational organization which teaches teens and young adults the importance of connecting to ourselves, and to each other for the care of our Earth. Each day began with a wake-up-and-stretch session at Buddy Todd Park, and then we visited 5 wonderful host sites where experts opened our eyes to the many ways we can help protect and save our planet. We'll definitely do it again!
