About
I am a globally certified yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance. I will happily come to you or meet at an outside location. I previously have only taught volunteered based classes for both children and adults, but recently I have decided to start teaching yoga more seriously. I am able to work with all ages and abilities, along with pregnant mothers. I am also able to provide guided meditation and hands on adjustments if desired.
The practice of yoga turned me from an anxiety filled mess to a woman ready for whatever life throws at her. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly I feel off my game when I fall out of my practice. The physical benefits not only tone you body, improve your balance, and flexibility, but they regulate your digestive system, improve blood circulation, and lower your blood pressure. The mental benefits go so much farther than you would imagine. Practicing yoga reduces stress, helps manage anxiety, it may sound cliche, but it truly helps you to both discover and accept yourself if you take the time to invest in your practice. It is the ultimate form of self love.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take a few minutes with a new students to learn their specific needs and their previous experience with yoga. I also ask about any injuries and what the new student is looking to gain from their experience.
