About this pro

I have over 20 years of experience as a voice and piano teacher.

I developed the Fundamental Vocal Course for adults and a specialized course for children which teaches basic technique while catering to the individual.

I teach all levels, styles and ages on piano. I have mentored students for 10 years that started as a beginner then progressed into their chosen style.

I have a MA in Musical Theatre with a Certificate in Musical Composition from Regis University. I work as a teaching artist and musician throughout the front range.

I enjoy the process of learning especially in creative fields. I love seeing a student experience success after dilligent effort. I am passionate about music and like to share that with my students.

The benefit of private lessons is the precise instruction to the student's preferences and needs. I go wherever the student wishes to explore.

I offer a free, introductory lesson so the student can experience a lesson to see what my teaching style is.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters in Musical Theatre with a Certificate in Music Composition from Regis University.

I work with many schools and arts organizations including Red Rocks Community College, Arvada Center and the Lakewood Cultural Center. I teach private lessons in Arvada, Nederland and Gilpin County.

I work throughout the Front Range as a teaching artist and performer.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Students pay monthly and makeup lessons are done on the 5th week of the  month.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

The student needs to make sure the instructor is the right fit for their learning style.
