About
I received my yoga certification in 2014. Since then I have taught privately and in group settings. Witnessing the power that yoga has to change peoples lives has been incredibly rewarding. It’s not about how flexible you become it’s about learning how to be in the moment, in your body. It about learning to sit with the good and the bad and knowing you have all you need in every given moment everyday. I teach yoga to all ages. My kid programs are designed around music, games and activities.
I love seeing people create peace in their lives. I love creating sequences based on what people need from their yoga. I love planning out music to my sequence. I love watching people take a deep breath and sink into savasana. I love it when my students are challenged and then they have a deep sense of pride. I love setting up my space for sessions.... placing fresh flowers, diffusing oils, putting on music, smudging and loving. I love teaching and guiding people through the best time of their day and watching them have yoga glow.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a small questionnaire I like students to fill out about their experience with yoga, health issues and any injuries they may be dealing with. I also like to know what they want to get out of learning yoga whether it be gaining strength, finding piece of mind or gaining flexibility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 200 hour training through Corepower Yoga. As well as training I have learned through Raven Elise yoga in Yoga Tone and Velo yoga.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $20 an hour for yoga at my house in my sacred yoga space and $30 and hour to come to you. I believe yoga should be accessible to all so will work with people on a sliding scale. I also teach group yoga in my town of HUDSON and in Denver at the Urban Sanctuary.
How did you get started teaching?
I started practicing yoga in 2008 and was hooked immediately. I started to see big changes in my life as a result. I slept better, ate better, enjoyed waiting tables more, quit smoking and had more piece of mind. I wanted to share this with the world.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all body types including elderly, overweight and injured. Yoga meets you wherever you are in your life.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
While scrolling through social media I came across one of my past students giving me a shout out for being an influential person in her life and yoga practice. I was shocked and had no idea I influenced this person in that way. It sparked something inside of me and fueled my passion to teach and share more.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you have a connection with, your soul knows.
