About
Fundamentals first. Showing up to your first yoga class can be intimidating. My goal is to work with individuals to prepare them with all of the yoga basics, so they feel comfortable, confident, and safe in their own practice. In addition, students who work with me have the option of going deeper into yoga philosophy to understand how this physical exercise can help us tap into our true nature.
Teaching yoga is a gift because I get to watch individuals challenge themselves and reach new levels of phyiscal wellness and performance. In addition, I get to share in the emotional, mental, and spirital progression of each student as they begin to strengthen their mind/body connection.

How did you get started teaching?
Yoga was a complete accident for me. As an athlete and gym rat, I was always concered with building strentgh and power. Much to my surprise, the physical practice of yoga does offer everyone the chance to build strentgh, work on balance, and of course increase flexibility. After just a couple sessions, I was hooked and flew to Ecuador to spend a month learning the foundations of teaching yoga.
