Keith Robellard, Teacher Of Piano
About
I can tailor arrangements to the students particular interest and skill level.
My name is Keith Robellard
I have been teaching piano in Westchester County since 1990. I am a 2nd generation piano teacher. My dad raised our family outside Cleveland, Ohio teaching piano. I currently have 17 students in and around Katonah of all ages: 7, 9, 14, 16, 17, 55 and 72. My philosophy regarding playing piano is: “the piano is a joy to play and gives me many hours of happiness.” Do I teach classical? Of course, that is my training. But my dad played all styles of music up until he was 90. I teach and arrange any popular music, Broadway tunes, Scott Joplin and more. I think a great teacher knows just the right piece of music to suggest for smooth progress. I teach online and in person. If in person, I always wear a mask. I have been extremely successful online using FaceTime. I am flexible and patient. My favorite thing to do is teach piano. I was formerly a music faculty member of the Rippowam School in Bedford for 16 years. I was also the accompanist/music director at Temple Beth El in Chappaqua for 30 years. I am still Music Director at First Congregational Church in Chappaqua.
May I suggest a trial lesson so you can see whether you’d like to continue with me? I charge $50 for 30 minutes, $75 for 45 minutes and $90 for one hour.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Keith Robellard
