About
You're Yoga is based on yogi principles that yoga is all about you and your practice. My goal is to meet you where you are, but to take you where you want to be.
I teach beginners and of all ages.
Yoga has taught me how to overcome losses, deal with grief, and how to have peace on the outside by going within. The body transformation is just the cherry on top.
I received my 200 hour teacher training from CorePower Yoga in 2017 and I'm a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Also CPR certified.
Most importantly, I love what I do and that allows me to teach from a space of love.
I mostly enjoy watching the growth and the transformation of my students. To get positive feeback and to observe students going from inactive to active, non-flexible to flexible, and highly stressed to a more relaxed demeanor...means the world to me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Lack of flexibility seems to be the number one concern for the vast majority of new students. I assure students that yoga is much more than being able to place foot to nose or reaching hands to toes.
I guide each student through the various poses and offer assists/ modifications for deepining a pose or becoming more comfortable in the pose.

What types of students have you worked with?
I work with everyone from senior citizens exploring a new exercise regimen due to injury, to young children and teenagers dealing with ADHD and trauma.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice would be to observe new and seasoned yoga teachers. Be unafraid to ask the teacher any and all questions regarding your practice. Equally important, find someone that fits your overall goals and personality style.
