About
My yoga journey began in 2013 with a BJJ injury. As a broke grad student (at the time) I looked for methods of healing that wouldn't require surgery or a massive doctor's bill when I came across yoga. In time I was able to improve my range of motion while learning more about the benefits of a consistent yoga practice. Through my yoga practice I have been able to increase my flexibility, reduce my stress, become more empathetic and understanding of those around me, and helped many manage themselves along the way.
In 2019, I completed my 200hr Hatha yoga teacher training under Aura Wellness, my 25hr Gravity Yoga training in 2020 and look to continue to hone my gifts so that I can better serve my students and community. I currently work in the city of Atlanta, GA and online as a yoga instructor.
I love introducing people to this ancient practice and seeing their transformation take place. I believe that yoga can benefit anyone if they are willing to take the leap and start their practice.

I love that I am able to expose people (mainly beginners) to something they are unfamiliar with and help take control of their wellbeing by enhancing their relationship with themselves.
My student base is typically those with beginner to intermediate experience, from everyday people and athletes with little to no flexibility. Beginner students can be especially fragile as they may not understand what yoga is or how to fit it into their lives. I enjoy the process of making yoga less scary, more understandable, and more beneficial in their lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students first, if possible. Who are they, what is their activity level, why they are looking to start (or continue) a yoga practice, if they've had any previous experience with yoga (if so, what and where), and any underlying medical conditions are amoung some of the things I may ask in our initial meeting. This will help to determine if I would be a good match you and what I will be able to cover during our sessions. I ultimately want to make sure that you are on the path to meet your goals and maybe gain something you didn't think you would on the may.
