I first learned how to play guitar following along with early 90s alternative bands like the Smashing Pumpkins but then quickly turned to blues and improvisation in rock/blues/pop oriented music. I have a pretty deep understanding of the blues and pop music of all kinds (from Motown R&B to power pop/rock of the 70s & radio pop today).
