Drew Krag Guitar Lessons
About
My teaching approach:
I have a unique philosophy to teaching guitar. For my beginners, I use a series of tricks that make learning the guitar a lot quicker and fun. I feel that anyone can learn how to play if they have the right teacher. For my more advanced students, I stress understanding the concepts involved (i.e. scales, rhythm, technique, etc.) in improvisation as opposed to just memorizing licks.
My influences are:
Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, Jimi Hendrix, Les Paul, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dave Gilmore, Grant Green, Eddie Van Halen... I attended the National Guitar Workshop for four years where I received instruction directly from: Jim Hall, John Scofield, Mark Jacobson, John Abercrombie, Mike Stern, Ronnie Earl, Paul Gilbert and many more.
