Your lesson program will consist of weekly 45-minute private lessons. You’ll receive guidance and direction as you learn your instrument. You’ll learn many different styles, skills and techniques required to become a successful musician. We tailor your lessons to your specific needs and goals. Got a favorite song? Your teacher can help you work toward learning it!
Evolution Music offers guitar, bass, drum, piano, ukulele, and vocal lessons to students of all ages. We focus on keeping learning fun, and we make sure that every student is playing songs that they love. Most of our students begin lessons with no prior experience, and we take great pride in developing enthusiastic musicians and helping our students reach their musical goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
At Evolution Music we start everyone with a free 15 minute lesson to see if what skill level they are at and if they like the instructor. If this is a brand new student, the trial will see if they have the skill and coordination to start taking music lessons. If you work hard and practice anyone can learn an instrument
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Most of the instructors at Evolution play in local bands so they have a lot of experience playing shows.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a teacher, the most important qualities to me are finding a teacher that is going to help the student grow. It is very important that a student finds an instructor that is not only talented but fun to work with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The student should think about what they ultimately want get out of learning an instrument; whether that be to just learn something new, to be in band that gets on stage, to improve on a specific style of playing or to just enjoy a new hobby in life.
