About

I teach yoga in a functional way. This means that I don't expect all of my student's poses to all look the same. My goal for my students is to come to class, have a relaxing experience while moving in a way that challenges their unique bodies.

I really like to meet new people and to learn their story. It helps me teach to them in a way that is personal and helpful to thier body and needs. It is wonderful to build relationships with my students and to see them progress over time. When I hear a collective sigh at the end of class - it's music to my ears!

I had been practicing yoga on my own and was looking to deepen my practice. Someone recommended my school (Santosha School, Indianapolis,IN) and after just one day there I knew this is what I wanted to do.

All kinds! Young and old. Athletes and those just wanting to move their bodies a bit. I believe that there is yoga for everyone and it will look different for every body.

While there have not been a lot of events going on recently, I was proud to help with a group of women who I share space with at Bargersville Wellness (Bargersville, IN) do an Earth Day trash clean up around downtown Bargersville. Small changes make big differences.

Ask lots of questions! You should feel completely comfortable with someone and their ability to teach you.

How long have you been teaching?

How will your skills help me accomplish my goals?
