Heavily Meditated By Landen

My name is Landen Stacy and I am a creative entrepreneur as well as the owner of my brand "Heavily Meditated by Landen".

You have probably stumbled on this page to find out a bit more about me. I'm not great at talking about myself but I will give it a shot.

At first I intended on becoming an art therapist after I graduated from Marshfield High School. I began studying at Cape Cod Community College in fall of 2011. I quickly realized the college lifestyle was not for me and dropped out after only attending one semester. I kept my head up and often would tell myself that I was going to go back as soon as I was financially supported enough to do so. That time never seem to come after working up several corporate ladders.

I found myself in dead-end job after dead-end job just trying to make a paycheck so that I could spend the money on my one true passion, art. Since I was a young child I have always loved exploring different art medias. I have taken classes in painting, ceramics, cartooning, digital media, photography, drawing, illustrating, sewing, scrapbooking, and more. I was featured in every school art show offered from K-12. I even showcased at my first public craft fair at the young age of 11. Aside from trying to sell my art to friends and family, my work was also recognized by the North River Arts Society.

At some point after dropping out of college I ignited a fire within myself by attending a much-needed yoga class. Suddenly the memories of doing downward-facing dogs while watching Rodney Yee in the early '90s came rushing back to me. After that I attended classes on and off for about 5 years.

Desperately seeking a career and life shift, I signed up for a 200-hr yoga teacher training at Emerald Yoga Studio in 2016. This is when the "Big Magic" started to happen. I began to notice the shifting of gears very early on. I felt like this was finally my metamorphosis moment where I could really shine my light to others. I fell in love with the feeling of showing others what I adored about yoga. I wanted everyone I met to feel the self-love and self-acceptance I had discovered through practicing the asanas. Mid-training I lost my job which opened up an amazing opportunity as an admin at the studio. I took this break as a chance to craft and design as much as possible. Any free time I had was spent in my spare bedroom "art studio" whipping up creations or trying to gain more knowledge about how to be a more successful yogi.

I had also began meditating as a last chance effort toward combating my anxiety. When I realized how helpful meditation was it was life altering. I was given the opportunity by the inspirational yoga teacher/owner of Emerald Yoga Studio/spritual guru, Jennifer Safrey, to show others how great meditation is by taking over the Monday Meditation class.

That's where Heavily Meditated was born!
