Doug is knowledgeable and motivating. I have really enjoyed boxing with him! I was a complete beginner when I started, and he kicked my ass the first few times for sure! But after about a month, I already feel like I know what I’m doing. I feel more confident and like I’m getting back in shape. If you are looking for some great boxing lessons, hire Doug!

Doug is an excellent teacher! He explains the combinations he wants you to do well and he is very patient. I entered the ring with prior experience but he taught me new techniques which was awesome. I had a class with him on Monday night and I am still sore! It has been one of the best workouts Ive had. Doug is very knowledgeable and passionate about boxing which is exactly what I was looking for. I am looking forward to training with him and entering some exhibition fights in the future!

I started Boxing in the Navy as a teenager and have continued throughout my entire adult life. I've competed at many local events and was a finalist for the Boston area auditions of the very first season of "The Contender" reality TV show on NBC, with Frank Stallone (Sly's brother), Sugar Ray Leonard and Emanuel Steward from Detroit's famous Kronk Boxing Gym.

I've worked with kids as young as 8 years old all the way up to my oldest student -- a 77 year old gentlemen who really developed well. I teach BOTH men and women, and teach Self-Defense classes as well.

Find someone who has considerable experience in whatever sport you are pursuing.....experience goes a LONG way in sports and in business, so seek out the most experienced coach you can find.

Is this something you really want to do? Are you passionate about it? Are you willing to work hard and take instruction. Boxing, like golf and other skilled games, involves precision and technique....it requires discipline and dedication.
