"This is my Eleventh year working at the Prince George’s County Public School, I have been dedicated and committed to making a difference in the education field. My gift has always been in teaching our youths. As a Math/Science Special Education Resource teacher my goal is to never stop teaching and along the way to never stop learning. Our kids are our future.
As a former professional and Division I basketball player and coach, I'm an enthusiastic and dedicated basketball professional.I have a proven track record of Coaching, Recruiting, and Scouting. I bring a lifetime of basketball achievement and experience to everything I do. I have over 25 years of progressive domestic and international coaching, recruiting, scouting, training, teaching/mentoring experience including head coaching and assistant roles at the Professional, College, High School AAU/ Youth, international club levels.
Professionally, I was the head coach at Los Marinos De Oriente - Venezuela. I have also been a Head coach at the High Schools in the DMV areas. I have a world of experience as an Assistant coach recruiter and floor coach at Cornell University, University of North Carolina Greensboro, Virginia Commonwealth University, VA Tech University, University of Alabama, Bowie State, and Allegheny College of MD.
In closing, Professionally I have worked as an Assistant with the Washington Mystics (WNBA) and as a Regional Scout with Milwaukee Bucks. Over the course of my career, I've assisted and coached at numerous basketball camps, including, Hoop Group America, Nike All-American, 5-Star, Top 50 All-American camps, and BCI All-American Basketball Camp.
In 2001, I founded the Beaman Basketball Skills Development Academy where I currently sit as the CEO/President, Coach, and Trainer.
As a basketball coach, my goal is to influence and instill positive life skills in student-athletes. I aim to help each student achieve their goals and admirations. Working with people and giving back to my community is important to me.
