About
I have a passionate belief in our capacity to get into a healing state more frequently and readily to create dramatic changes in our lives. I help people with anxiety, tension, back, neck and shoulder pain feel more comfortable in their bodies and move toward a pain free life. On my blog I have short sequences and poses to help target specific areas of pain, tips for using yoga practices to help cultivate resilience, reduce tension, pain, and anxiety.
Yoga has helped me build resilience, feel empowered, find self-connection, and helped ease tension and pain.I found yoga as a teenager when I was looking for a way to help manage anxiety, stress, and chronic fatigue. I kept coming back to yoga over and over whenever I noticed I needed to find that refuge again – to come back home to my body and feel grounded and better again physically and mentally. I have taught yoga to people of all ages from pre-school to seniors and everywhere in between. I have trained in movement and healing studies throughout my life and continue to study as a lifelong student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You can start by scheduling a time for a phone consultation. On our call we will discuss your needs and your schedule. Then we can arrange your introductory private yoga session. You will need a yoga mat to start. Other helpful props to have include a blanket, pillow, yoga strap, and yoga blocks. It’s ok if you don’t have these items for our introductory session. We can also discuss alternative props you may already have, or places to get them. Our classes will be held in person or live over video conference using Zoom from the convenience of your own home or office.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently took a trip to the U.P. - it was a really lovely trip. I spent time hiking, floating on the water, eating local cherries from a roadside stand, and doing yoga on the beach. A very memorable trip.
