I have taught kids, young adult, middle age, and the elderly.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was fond of working at Evergreen Commons. I taught chair yoga for the elderly and they clapped when they enjoyed the class. The students would speak with me before or after class excited about the changes they noticed as well as feedback they wanted to share.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher you truly enjoy. It's your time on the mat and you should feel comfortable and safe. It is your time to get away for a little while and clear your mind.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I am open to communication. Being very detailed in what you are looking for is helpful.
