About
I am an RYT Yoga Alliance-200 certified teacher. Trained in an Ashtanga based style, I deliver a well rounded class that builds heat, strengthens muscles, and winds down with active stretching and relaxation. I was a professional ballerina for several years, and I got my start thanks to rigorous training from the age of 3. Throughout that time, I recognized the power of cross training and used pilates, swimming, physical therapy, and yoga to become a better athlete. As a yoga instructor, I bring that experience with me in a unique way that makes for a challenging and fun class.
I love seeing the satisfaction students get after completing a yoga practice. The practice always works!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by answering any questions the student may have, and advise breaks and water when needed. During the flow, I am careful to describe how to do each pose in detail, plus what muscles to activate for the best results. Gradually, I will increase the pace and level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. I also was a professional ballet dancer, and trained for 18 years. Throughout that time, I used pilates, yoga, strength training, swimming, and more to become a better athlete. I bring all of that past knowledge to the table in the yoga practice.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 per class.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching yoga shortly after the end of my dance carrer. I've always loved the practice, and getting to learn 200 hours worth of information about it was heaven. I've continued to practice and teach since becoming a certified teacher, and love it!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Always think about and bring up any injuries or sensitivities you may have, and your past atheletic experience.
